I bought my truck with 116k miles and bought the EasyCare warranty with it, I haggled the sales guy down to $1500 from $3800-ish.
Well after having the belts and tensioners go out, bedplate seal, and my whole ac system needing replaced- they have paid for it all. A total of $7,200-ish of repairs done and all covered by EasyCare.
Thought I'd share that with people considering buying an aftermarket warranty for when their ford warranty is up. I've had a great experience with them. Of course it's all up to the adjuster who comes and looks at the truck, and it's also what kind of relationship he has with the dealership or service advisor. But if you want to buy an aftermarket warranty for a ford vehicle, I say EasyCare is good since ford owns them.
