Just a rumor I heard

I heard this from a guy at work that said cummins is coming to ford. that the contract with dodge is ending and ford is puttin them in their trucks along with allison trannies. I dont know how true this is thats why I'm posting this to see if it is. I figured ya'll would know or have heard something about it. I looked before I posted and didn' see anything, so just wondering. leave comments.

At the autoshow, they had f450, f550, f650 with cummins diesels and allison trannies. I havent heard anything about th e250 and 350 though

I heard this somewhere too, but I don't know how true it is. I do know that Ford's commercial vehicles (F650, F750, etc.) are available with cummins and cat engines. I'm not sure what the future holds for the rest of their truck line up though.

wow ive been hearin this forever, believed it once my self too, a loooooong time ago......................it would make sense for cummins to try to do that cuz Ford is the best selling truck in America...

As far as I know, just another net rumor...The last I heard is that Ford is goin in house with their diesels with in the next 5 years.

The F150 Diesel in 09 or 10 was rumored to be based on the the V6 Land Rover, but my friend that works for Land Rover said Ford is selling off Land Rover for financely reasons.

Anything can happen, but I say it is just a rumor at best.
