Inexpensive Aftercooler & Exhaust Brake
I'm here wasting time at the office (again) and came across this site. The Intercooler (actually an aftercooler) looks pretty cool. It might just be a summer project for a weekend when I'm not out fishing. The exhaust brake would be handy as well.

Exhaust brake
I have one on my rig - It was made in Oreville Ca. by a retired truck mechanic. Mine works about like theres - but mine comes on only when your foot is off the fuel feed. I put it on myself and it is nothing more then a switch - relay and a wire harness that goes between the cold start valve plug and the wire harness. I had to connect it to a power supply and it has a toggle switch to turn it on and off. I believe I paid about 260 for it. It does work but not as good as an aftermarket exhaust brake. To make it slow down on a good grade you need to take it out of over drive and sometimes even drop it into next lower gear. Mike OB
