ok i just came into 250,000 and when im 18 its mine but i have always wanted a ford diesel, the 6.4s are beautiful but dont trust the motors, the 6.0s are nice but still dont trust the motors, i am a diehard fan of the 7.3 but im disappointed that they stopped making them, i decided not to spend over 50,ooo on a truck but idk what to get cause all the 7.3s have over 100,000 miles on them i want something with low miles and still a warrenty. should i go for a 6.0? and also i heard that if u had a stick that if u chip it its not as much power to the wheels, is that true? i found a nice truck but its a 6.0 is it a good deal? not a manny though

you want to stay anyway from the earily 6.0 get an 05-07 they were the best years for the 6.0 and you can get a lot of power out of them. buying the truck and putting the mods on it will keep you under 50,000 by far with a very powerful truck. but that is just my

and the truck seems a bit pricey to me i only paid 22,000 for mine and it is a lariat

If I were you, I'd go new 6.4 and read up on what some of the guys on here are doing/going to be doing to make them powerful. Im a 7.3 guy too.

Just my opinion but that truck seemed really overpriced too.

If you've got 50G to blow on a truck, I'd hunt down a stock lower kilometer 7.3, you can usually find one for around $25/30,000, and then you'll have a lot of dough to build it however you want. Also at 18 and driving a newer truck, your gonna be spending that quarter million on monthly insurance payments. I'm 19 and thats why I'm going with an OBS truck so I don't get raped on insurance.

if your looking for big power and since you got plenty cash go with the 6.4s their making some awesome hp numbers

well after everything im gunna plan on a 6.0 and my ensurance is cheap cause i have a clean record and since i got a perfect score on my driving test its lower, and my brothers both bought new cars and trucks andd my brothers tundra is 78 a month and my brothers gti is 103. im still on my parents plan, but im thinking 6.0 or a 7.3 if i can find one with low low low miles

I would send that money to an investor. What an awesome base to start your 401k.

That money in 50 years will be MILLIONS, not thousands.

Work your butt off and just know you have a huge cushion to fall back on.

haha!!!!! thats rad!!!! well i just want a truck now all i will do is take out the cat and a k&n airfilter and thats it till i get enough money to spend on my truck. butthat will come, believe me
