7.3 manual transmission.

Hey guys, I have an 02 f-250 with 6 speed and I see a lot of talk about how the transmission is weak once you start adding hp but I can't seem to find any clarification as to wether that is just the auto or the manual also. I have a 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust, Edge Evolution programmer and that 6637 Napa air filter. I would love to put in a ball bearing turbo and ditch the programmer for a decent chip. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's the auto trans they are talking about, your weak link in a zf 6 is the clutch afaik

Get a better chip and upgrade your clutch when it starts to slip. The ZF6 is a great tranny
