hercules tires? opinions please

Has anyone ever ran these. Two of the local tire shops here highly reccomend them

I had a set on a 2000 dodge cummins and they were fine ran them for about 15k then sold the truck they were still in good shape.

never heard of them.... and my take on parts is if I never heard of them, I am not using them..... I wait for other people to be the guinea pig...lol

And I just looked at them... they look more like a highway tread work truck tire than an a/t tire.... but then again all of my tires are extrememly aggressive tires....lol

I thought they kind of resembled the Bridgestone Revo, but with more siping. Simular to Nitto Terra Grappler - well - sort of. Void spacing and such simularity.

Not many reviews of the Hercules but I remember reading an off road magazine last year about Hercules in a tire test and the magazine said they are a solid small up-n-commer.

Dave I used to work at a service station back in college and we sold a lot of hercules tires. They are a generic brand, so they are cheaper than the brand names. They are also a good tire for the money. They wear good and they used to come with free road hazzard insurance included with all tires. If you find one you like I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. I saw many brand name tires come back in those days with all kinds of premature failures, mostly goodyear had problems and even BFG sometimes. Hercules tires were pretty trouble free.
