BLUE OVAL

I have an 06 F-250 PSD. The blue oval in the middle of the frint dash is losing all the clear coat or paint off of it. Making it look dull and faded. I have noticed several others with the same problem. Has anyone heard if Ford will replace this or am I going to have to pay for it? I know in the early 90's chevy would replace grils that were coming apart because it was obviously not the owners fault. Any way just thought I would check.

They should replace I know a few people who have had the 05-07 emblems replaced b/c the black was flaking off.

well I have 47000 miles on it so that solves that one. I just bought it. The chevy issues did not matter the milage, because they knew they had a problem. I fighur I would have heard of it by now if Ford would do it. But hey it' worth asking. Thanks anyway.

Yeah certainly can't hurt to ask the dealer about it. You just never know until you ask

Thats another issue. The black is coming off of the F-250 emblem on the side. This again I have seen on several others. Don't get me wrong I love the truck, but if I can get Ford to fix it for free, thats just that much more $3.60 per gallon diesel I can buy.

I called my dealer that I bought the truck from, AND bought an extended warranty from.....they said the side emblems and front emblem werent covered and I would have to replace em.....SOOOO, I canceled my extended warranty and I MAY buy new emblems someday, OR I've been thinking about removing all of the emblems all together!

My oval and my 2 of my buddys that have 05's are all doing the same, I thought they would replace the side ones with the black peeling off with no problem???
