F350 Emblem Chipping
my 2006 f350 emblem has the paint coming of it
anyone else out there have this problem.

Actually a very common problem I've seen across the board. Since it's a 2006 you can take it back to the dealer and beg for mercy... OR you can ACETONE them... and have shiny CHROME badges that won't chip.

ya im going to go to ford tomorrow and have them order a new one . it should be covered under warrantee.

ask them to keep the old one and give it to you....
This way, when the new warranty one chips afterwards you can acetone the old ones and see how they look b4 making a final choice

My '05 is doing the same - heck when I bought mine there were some brand new ones that were already starting to peel. I'm gonna chrome mine out and if I don't like it I'll paint them myself.

Rodslinger steals paint set from younger brother/cousin/child... paints his emblems all nice and pretty... and becomes frustrated that he neglected to see they were water colors until the paint was washed away in the rain.

I just took mine to the dealership, deffinetely under warranty. mine are ordered and in the mail.

thanks guys im going to do that and if they keep chiping ill just keep going back intill the warrentee expires then i might just order some diferent ones i saw nice ones on ebay all cromed out real nice.
