IS this a good deal or what! Tires and rims

Ok i have a buddy who has some 16.5 rims with 33 inch superswampers on them with 98% tread them that he is gana just give me. Now the the tires are bias so should i put these on my tuck or is it a bad idea?

bias shouldnt hurt you. The only problem you will run into would be later when you have to get another set of tires for the 16.5. manufactures are stopping production on that size of rim. But for free i wouldnt worry about it right now. Take them and buy rims later if you have to. Plus the superswampers tend to crack real bad down the center of the tire, and on the sidewalls. Just my on what ive dealt with. I work at Discount tire, and every time ive seen a set of those, they all had the cracks within the first few months of riding on them.

no not to bad, as long as you dont mind the ride of the swamps. But other than that, shouldnt hurt anything.

swampers

The only thing with Bias ply swampers is flat spotting and can be hard to balance.
What type of swampers are they?

Since the are free, give em' a shot!
