2000 super duty headlight conversion

Will the headlights from the 05-07 superdutys fit on a 2000 superduty? if not which headlights would someone recommend to use?

they will fit but you have to do one of 2 things. 1. replace the entire header panel. 2. modify the header panel that you have. You can add lights from an 02-04 that are direct replacements.

the 02-04 headlights are a direct replacement and look better than the 99-01... also if you look at e-bay you can find projector head lights for around $100 and their suposed to be 50% brighter than stock. thats what im going with when I get a superduty.

when you say header panel, what does that all entail?

this is the newer 05+ style header panel that i will allow you to completely bolt up the headlights with no modification

or you can cut on the insides of the header panel so the 2005-2007 headlights will fit i did and it worked fine but be careful not to cut to much use a motor tool!!

I did the swap on my 99 and it was a pretty easy swap, it took me a while longer because i was using trying to make do with the wrong tool, but then I borrowed a Rotozip tool and it was twenty minutes to finish one side and do the other, 10 to figure out the wiring harness popped the lights in and she was done.

I just went to Ford and paid $110 for the 05-07 header. No cutting or drilling required.

that isnt a bad price on the header panel but I am pretty sure I could do the entire swap in less time than it would take me to drive to the Ford dealer and buy the panel and get home.
