ball joint question

i have a 04 6.0 f-250 4x4 on the driver side does the shaft come out like the passenger any help would be nice or do i need to remove the housing on the pumpkin

the big seal on the backside of the kuckle is all that holds the axle in after the hub is out. Its pretty tight though....

get a prybar on the lip of the axle that the dust seal mounts to....right where it goes into the axle and pry out on that with a prybar while holding the axle strait (dont let the knuckle turn or the u joint will to and you wont get a strait pry).
