Lookin to buy another Super Duty

Had a bad run of luck with my last two powerstrokes(6.0 and a 6.4) so i moved away from them for a while. Sold my cummins back last year due to not really needin a diesel that much plus it wasnt a daily driver but now im back to doin some light towing and the fact that i miss the power. The ole gas burner just aint cuttin it rite now.

Im lookin to buy another F250 or 350(single wheel) and im not sure if i wanna get a 6.4 or look for a used 6.7. Im not really lookin to build a truck like i have done in the past... Just wanna do the typical deletes, intake, exhaust, tune, etc...im gonna try to stay away from doin studs, built trans, bigger turbos, etc...

Question is do i want a 6.4 or 6.7? If a 6.4, what years should i look for as i have been told the early trucks had some issues but the newer ones got better and the 6.7 trucks, should i be on the lookout for anything, etc...????

Same here. I want to know about the same info. So can I ... share your thread too pls?

Someone in here suggested to get either a late 6.4 (2010) or 6.7. He said 6.7 fuel milage is good, average out @~18-19mpg. And it's really quiet. I have 2 people I know verified the quietness and fuel economy too.

I'm checking out a 2011 cclb lariat trim in a bit. It's high milage though: 142k miles, listed for $33k. Looks really nice. Anyone recommend against the high milage? What a moneytary trade off for say each 50k miles at this year?
