Newbie with some questions

Ah yes I am a Newbie, but only in the sense of being "new" to this forum. I enjoy PSD's and i share the same pasion as you folks when it comes to them. Currently I do no own one, but I'm looking to change that within about a years time. My main concern is which engine would be "better". To me better means: Upgrades, Ease of installing them, cost(in all aspects) and perhaps fuel economy. I can say that i like the 6.0L simply becuase of the redesigned turbo and the "newer" electronics.

Thank you and I lookforward to posting here.

Welcome to Powerstroke.org Justin!
Well that question is very opinionated, probably because the folks with 7.3's love their 7.3's and the folks like me with the 6.0's love ours too. The 7.3 is a well known motor for being very reliable and the 6.0's although having some initial problems with a few are in my opinion going to live up to it's predecessor. Anyway that's the opinion from an 'ol boy with a rock solid 6.0 who wouldn't trade it for the world but you'll get a bunch more folks chiming in soon I'm sure.
Enjoy the site!!!

Ah thanks guys I know i will enjoy the site. I was just curious as to what some "tuners" thought might work out for me. Personally I would like some with 50-75K of miles so by the time I'm ready to buy the 6.0L might be the only thing in that range.
