Diesel fuel issues

I have a 2008 6.4 and its says to run only ultra low sulpher diesel fuel. Well when Iam on the road going hunting it's hard to find stations that carry ultra low sulpher fuel. So i have been putting in low sulpher because I have no choice... My question is, will low sulpher diesel cause any harm in my motor ? I see stickers on the low sulpher pumps stating do not use low sulpher in 2007 and later engines etc...........

Yeah not a good idea on the 08's I believe it will clog up your particulate filter on the exhaust.

Where are you located? Around here all you can find is ULSD. I know of two places within 50 miles that carry LSD and they also offer ULSD.

yeah i havent seen LSD for about a year or a year and a half around here. Im pretty sure all it will do is plug up the particulate filter, but maybe regen will burn all that excess build up out

I live in phoenix ,Az. Theres lots of ultra low sulpher here in town but on the road out of town there is still places that carry only low sulpher..Atleast thats what there pumps say. I wonder if its possible there getting ultra low sulpher pumped into there tanks and have not just updated the stickers on the pump yet?
