Talking cold weather start bragging

Man i love these PSD! sorry but after this mourning i have to brag. a few months ago i had some cold weather surging/stalling issues which i found and fixed all thanks to this site. the best thing is... most told me to chalk it up to "the nature of the beast" and to give up and plug the truck in every night it was below 30 deg. well I'm stubborn and after ditching the rotella and simply putting in amsoil 5w-40 and new "hotter and better" glow plugs from e-bay i am proud to say that without plugging it in, and from the comfort of my living room, i pushed the remote start button and immediately after the "wait to start" went out it started! the even better thing is.... it was 5 below and a wind chill of 30 below. it was the noisiest and the smokiest thing i ever saw but who cares IT STARTED AND STAYED RUNNING WITH NO SURGE!!!!!!
my conclusion... !old man winter go #@$! yourself! i won.

and for those who wonder it is a 2001 7.3

Dude, I'd be careful. Old Man Winter has a way of coming around and smacking you when you least expect....

Congrats on the cold start though!
