i can get about three more gallons of diesel into my truck after the nozzle kicks out--is it OK to do this?

Yep not a problem. The vent tube and fill tube extends down into the tank its supposed to keep fuel from venting in a rollover I guess. What happens is the diesel fuel foams so the last 3-4 gallons is a slow process.

yes it is fine. i have a 60 gal tank in the bed piped into my fill spout and it fills it clear up.you do not wont to steal my fule you will get a bath when you pop the side cap

ya i do it all the time only if there isnt a line then i am nice and park else where then i go pay inside

i fill mine to the very top and it does foam up alot in winter months

If you do the tank mods then it will fill right up to the top and will not splash back. Before I did the mods mine would always splash out all over the truck when the nozzle cut off, now I can get about 6 more gallons in with no splash back. Yea but on a gasoline car you cannot do this. Im sure most of ya know that already, because it will overflow into the charcoal canister and it will become saturated making it junk. But on a diesel its ok.

or you can do the Harpoon mod and you dont have to wait 10 more minutes to top off and it fills up s much faster....

watch out when you top off. I spilled like 5 gallons of fuel on the ground last time... ooops
