I had a 99 with a Truflow filter, magnaflow turbo back and TS chip. I ran my buddy in his 04 4.6 ranger, he ran a 16.6 at IRP one night in street legal drags....I didn't beat him by much....I guessed my time would be around 16.3-16.4. It was a CC/LB on 35's too......

Speed

My truck shuts off at 97 MPH. Drag racing is not for me, or my truck. I can't afford the tires on that thing to race it.

Well my truck was heavy. Like I said, crew cab/ long bed, lifted, on 35's and those are somewhat mild mods. I never did any powerbraked hard 4x4 launches...that's based on just standing on the pedal from a dead stop. It was probably capable of a 16 flat maybe a little less if I really put out the effort. I just wasn't all into trying to run the heck out of it. My cummins is a different story.

My cummins is straight piped (no cat from factory either) with a BHAF, and ATS/PPE programmer. I'm getting a TST PowermaxCR within a week, and a clutch and maybe something else at the Indy Jamboree.......I hope.....lol
