Battery drain

Have 06 f350 6.0. While truck sits a couple of days the battereis lose power and then just the clicking noise. Jumped off truck and went had the batteries checked and they said they were good, went to to places. Batteries are 11 months old. Truck starts fine after it has ran for awhile but after sitting just go dead. No lights on in truck and nothing has been added. Did a google search on this and some say could be diode in voltage regulator. Anyone had this problem? Need help.

First, you should really repost this in the 6.0 Forums (this is too "General" ).

Second, be sure you got your batteries properly tested (are they the original?) Most Auto Parts Stores use a sm. 100A Load Tester that isn't really suitable for Big Diesel batteries.

I'm a 7.3 guy, I know the "likely suspects" for our trucks to cause a parasitic drain. Hopefully, in the right forum, a 6.0 guy can advise you as to the same for your truck...
