SCT Tuner and or 4" exhaust

I was looking for some advise. I have an 04 6.0 4x4. I have done ARP head bolts, bulletproof EGR cooler and 4" cat back exhaust. I want to put a SCT tune on it and also the rest of the 4" exhaust. My question is will I have to change the tune if I get the SCT and then the exhaust later? Not looking for a race truck, I do a lot of heavy trailer pulling and just looking for a little help in that area, little better mileage would also be nice,
Thanks

Yea I'd make sure to have one kind of gauges when running a tune....you don't want anything getting to hot or melting...

Yea it is fun to push the small pedal!! I just hope to have a bit of restraint! I do not have gauges. Was hoping to not have to spend extra$$ and since I do not want to add crazy power thought I might not need to. But to be safe you are correct I need them. Any recommendations?
