Scangauge II and Xgauge Codes

Hi Guys,

I just installed the Scangauge II. I have also programmed in all the published codes from the Scangauge web site. Some work, most don't. My question(s), does anyone know if a list exists that is specific to the powerstroke engine as to what codes work and what ones do not?

Secondly, does anyone know of other codes that work that are not published by Scangauge?

Thanks guys I appreciate any help.

FYI. Before you guys ask, yes this product is well Worth the entry fee. For what it does, it would easily cost multiple hundreds of dollars to install sensors and dash gauges. The MPG feature alone is worth the entry fee. It gives you the real time ability to dial in that sweet spot in RPMs to determine your best economical speed empty and when hauling. In addition, the fact that you can unplug it and move to another vehicle and do all the same functions is just amazing.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

The new Kid on the block.

I've got the SGII also, great little piece of engineering!

All I've got on the Xgauges is the .pdf off the SG site. On it, is a list of specific sensor readings for the Ford PSD.

Good luck.

How accurate is the mileage feature? I was actualy thinking of getting one, but if it calculates the same way as the onboard computer then it wouldnt be worth it.

I ordered mine a couple of days ago hoping to get it for the weekend. Wrong! They are on back order. A 1 week delay. I looked on e-bay and there is a guy selling them a little cheaper and in the description, it says 40 something available. At the bottom it says there is a delay. so be careful you don't get reeled in and end up waiting to. The factory website is below.
