Question Can some explain this to me.....

As some of you know my truck is at the dealership because I broke the left front axle and u joint.....well I broke it on Friday night and Saturday morning I figured the dealership was going to say abuse so to save the headache I was just going to order the part and install it myself.....well the parts guy told me that it was back ordered at least 2 weeks.....so I held off and called Marc and talked it over with him.......he told just take it there and see what they say, well sure enough they are going to fix it under warranty and it will be ready Wednesday....so can some one explain that to me??

Front counter sales and backcounter sales are two different things. If they are on backorder.....the dealership can make "emergancy" orders but only for vehicles that are in the shop. Usually those orders take about two days to get instead of the normal overnight....but they can still get the part that they cant get for the front counter sale....
