Hitch problems

This weekend i was at my local truck pull and my hitch receiver broke and i all most ran over the flagger. Just wanted to tell everybody about it. I thought it was funny. I pulled 286, and had a enough wheel speed to go alot farther.

How did it break?? Was it the hitch pin or did the eye tear out?
