BROKE THE CAR WASH...

Well, I was lazy earlier and went to the "Lazerwash" an automated carwash. Been there several times, when I don't feel like doin it by hand, and have had no problems.

Everything was normal and the wand/arm thingy had made several passes around my truck spraying water and soap. Then, all of a sudden, on one of the passes the arm was DRAGGING down the side of my truck. It finally stopped when it got hung on my side mirror and shut itself down. I guess it got hung on my hitch and messed it up good. Pulled out of the bay, then got out and the damn thing was barely hanging from the above mounts.

Not a scratch on the truck, I'm glad they wrap those things in that foam crap...

Still had to go spray my truck off by hand...

Just thought I'd share.

Nic

I had that happen to me once, it was at a car wash in town, they updated to the touchless car wash, I had my 4.5 drop hitch in the back, the arm cought that, finally got over it, then the arm slamed into the passanger side mirror. then the car wash shuts off....the truck is coverd in soap. I get out of the truck walk inside the gas station tell the owner what happen, he came out side He made the 5 cars that were in line move so I could go back through, with my hitch out and my mirrors folded in, it didnt do any damage to my truck. I like the touchless car washes they work good.
