computer problem

new to the diesels but i was wondering i have recently purchased a 4inch straight pipe exhaust, wondering when i put this on will it throw any problems to the computer or anything and make the truck run bad? i have no idea about this ......this is my first mod to be put on my truck.

Theoretically speaking it shouldn't. In fact, you should probably benefit from as you are allowing the turbo to breath better. However, if the exhaust system is put on improperly (i.e. misconstrued piping, leaks, etc.) then it will throw something in the computer.

But you shouldn't have a problem. I'm sure someone else will chime in with a similar response! Good luck and enjoy your exhaust!
