Check your roof top clearance lights for leaks

I recently went to change a bad bulb in my clearance lights and found that two of them had leaked water and had rusted through the roof. If you find it early, it will be alot easier to fix. I had to cut the area out and replace it with a patch.

i wash the top of my roof mike. it makes it look nicer when u get some maintance up on top. i wax twise a year and wash once a week. always try to blow the salt off when u get a chance if u have salt on the roads. hope that helps ya so u don thave to go through that again. does the paint match now?

We have 5 trucks at work with cab lights and they get washed 2 times a month and waxed twice a year and havent had a problem,
