Diesel truck on a road course...

I know some pros/teams have done this, but anyone around here heard of anyone amateur, or maybe done it themselves?...modify a Superduty to run on a road course. I ride bikes on track, and I much prefer roadracing to dragracing (big F1/rally enthusiast here) I'd love the idea of slamming a Superduty, throwing on some performance suspension and brakes, tuning the engine, and then unleashing it onto a road course such as Road Atlanta, Moroso, or Sebring. It'd be a thing of beauty...8000 lbs. of steel sliding around turns. Thoughts?

I think you would need to shift a bunch of that weight towards the rear

Sounds fun though. Ive tracked my SHO taurus. Never thought about the F-250!

20 min from Laguna? No beepbeepbeepbeep. That's kick beepbeepbeep. I'd love to take my bike onto LS. I really wanted to get out to Cali for the MotoGP race. Maybe next year.

Excellent. Appreciate it. I'll keep that in mind. Preliminary plans for next summer are either trip to Europe, track day weekend at Road Atlanta or Barber, or trip to Laguna for the race.
