Another Excursion question

Okay,
I am know I just asked a question about a 6.0 in an Ex. But I just found a 7.3L, 4X4, 150K miles, Torador (sp) Red which my wife loves. Anyway, they are asking just under 15K. It has been on the lot for a while, Carfax shows clean title and no apparent probs. Pictures show a very nice car. The fella selling it only sells vehicles, no financing (he says "you have to go get that on your own" our Credit union said no prob) so it's not one of those tote the note places.

So after all that, what are reasons would one of these things (Ex) sit on a lot for a while? It was last bought at an auction November / December 2007. 1 owner bought in Colorado and sold here in Texas.

I am a graduate of the school of ...If it seems too good to be true.......

look it over good...make sure there are no major leeaks...the tires are wearing good...etc....

Plus the fact that he doesn't offer an type of financing may keep potential buyers from purchasing it. There are a lot of people whose credit sux.

Craig, go into the member's section and ask for an OASIS report on that VIN.

I guess to me that doesn't seem all that long...

I found mine in April 07 and from the Carfax the dealer aquired it in January. Not every vehicle is in and out in a few days.

One thing to check out though is what the interior may look like. When we were searching for ours we ran across a couple deals like you mention, but when we went to see them in person the interiors were more than well worn. When we found mine, the interior sold me almost immediately. It was immaculate.

Just ran the vin, needs CMP recall, someone put a waterpump on it, a front cover and a cam sensor a while ago, warranty.
