What is your 2cents on chips??

Im i the only one here that thing chips are bad news. I see all you guys are running chips and think it is great. I think they are junk and will tear your truck up. But if you have more money then you know what to do with and want to waste it on a fixing your truck then more power to ya.
I think they only way to get the longest life out of the truck is to leave it stock. Motor wise. I have a K&N Intake and a stright pipe thats it. I had the 6 guns for like 2 months and sold it. Them motors are not made to put up with that type of power. If they were dont you think they would come that way from the factory. SO whats your idea on this???

You think the majority of Diesel enthusiasts on this site with a chip or programmer have more money than they know what to do with you are Mistaken! And if you find someone with a 7.3 thats had a chip for a while, ask him how his truck is running.

I think with proper supporting mods that would be the smart way to chip a truck.

chips are actualy safer than the K&N filter you have on your truck. youll be looking for a new turbo soon enough if you keep it on there.

I think you are doing more damage to your truck with that junk KN filter than my tuner and exhaust is doing. Just my 2 cents.
