P0670 Glow plug Control Circuit Error
P0683 Glow Plug Control Module to PCM Communication Circuit

P0683 is a failure in the diagnostic circuit for the GPCM.
P0670 is a fault in the control line for the GPCM.

For 0670 - bad electrical plug or wire to the GPCM
There was a TSB about electronic glow plug controle module harness repair kit.

If 0683 continues after this ^ it's probably a bad GPCM and they can be bought @ napa...

Thank your for the reply. Would you possibly know what that control moduale looks like. I think I know but not positive.

did you ever get this problem resolved b/c I am getting the same codes.I just replaced the glow plug relay and am still getting the 0683. i also have a 1000
