Do same rules apply??/sorry wrong forum
Hey everybody
I was checking my oil today, after my truck was sitting for about 10 mins. It was in my driveway at a slight slant but i've always changed/checked my oils that way, anyway my dipstick read below add, now on a gas engine i know how much to add. My question is do the same rules apply to diesel and when that low how much do i add I know in gas its about 2 1/2 qts. my truck has 85500 miles on it but does not leak a drop I also dont notice any blue smoke. Does a diesel burn oil more than a gas motor or are they both basically the same in this area thanks Last edited by F-350MAN : 11-12-2005 at 08:04 PM. |
