foil delete
alright i am not to farmiliar with this whole foil delete
i was reading on here that there is foil in the inter cooler pipes and if you take it out it will make the turbo lounder and if you are going to open up the pipes more you would for sure get better flow but i guess i was just looking for anybody that could give me a little more info cause i have an 01 and the turbo sounds good but if i can make it better i will fo sho do and i also have an 03 7.3 and the turbo isnt as lound and i wanted to change that so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

If you look at the engine on the drivers side intercooler pipe it has a silver foil insulation for sound deadening purposes. You can remove that pipe and remove the foil and glue to get a louder turbo whine from the engine. You will probobly only notice it in the cab it won't be any louder out the tailpipe. I haven't done this mod as mine is already to loud, but from what I understand its not an easy task removing the glue.
