fuel water separator

so the dash told me its time to drain the fuel water separator.. got my Alan key and drained it until it stopped.. turned the truck on and it still says water in fuel.. do I need to cycle the key a certain way? it's an 06 if that helps

probably will take a certain number of key cycles to actually clear the code. also if you had a seriously bad batch of fuel you may need to drain it more often.
