Need a GEM module...where to get one besides dealer? How hard to install?

I think I finally found out my battery drain problems and it has to do with the GEM module. The dealer wants $700 installed. Wondering if there is somewhere to get the part, maybe do it myself. Where is the module located?

Not sure on where to get it other than the dealer but here is a to see if anyone else knows
