Aftermarket Warranty

I don't know how many people have fallen for this but when I bought my truck used from a car dealership they offered a 3 year warranty thru a company called C.A.R.S. and I bought it. Big mistake I tried to use it this week for the first time with no luck. Took my truck to a Ford Dealer like they said to, told the dealer about my warranty like they said and did every thing else they said to do. Well I went to pick up my truck and they declined my claim because they said the dealer didn't fax every thing over on time. I asked the service manager and he showed me confirmation pages on all the faxes. I think they will find a way to get out of paying for anything one way or another. Thats my thoughts about it anyway. Buyers beware!!!

I don't ever get the extended warranty. Always seems that they come back and say sorry but we don't cover that. Or sorry this claim was filed improperly. In my opinion extended warranty companies are nothing but the biggest scam, con artists out there. I do not know anyone that has ever had good luck with them.
