new f150

Does anyone know whether or not the new 2009 f150 has a diesel engine option.

2006 6.0 F250 psd extcab 4x4 long bed
5" MBRP exhaust with cat delete.
X3 SCT with custom tunes by DJ
35" Pro Comp All terrain A/T
6" BDS lift Kit from Truck Toyz

Heard a similar rumor that once GM and Ford get their diesels to meet the new emission standards for 2010 (I think) that they were going to be putting them in half tons.

Yea I heard that too but all of the sudden I have seen the brand new 2009 f150 and I was wondering if they give the option of a good engine

I believe it is still up in the air.....with the rise of diesel in the last couple months, for no dang reason, diesel aren't as appealing right now.....if it does come out, I'm sure it will be later in the 2009 model year

I heard they weren't putting them in till 2010

06 F250 Crew Cab, Lariat-FX4, ScanGauge II, High idle mod, Heated mirror switch mod, Sinister bypass oil filter and coolant filter, Fumoto valve, Zoodad, Blue Spring

no, so far the only ones to offer diesels in half tons are GM in the suburbans, but i dont really consider them half tons
