Heard a similar rumor that once GM and Ford get their diesels to meet the new emission standards for 2010 (I think) that they were going to be putting them in half tons.

Yea I heard that too but all of the sudden I have seen the brand new 2009 f150 and I was wondering if they give the option of a good engine

I believe it is still up in the air.....with the rise of diesel in the last couple months, for no dang reason, diesel aren't as appealing right now.....if it does come out, I'm sure it will be later in the 2009 model year

no, so far the only ones to offer diesels in half tons are GM in the suburbans, but i dont really consider them half tons
