Fluids ?????

I have a 1995 ford power stroke with a 5 speed in it. Does it have the zf-5 and does any body have a recommendation for the type of oil to use to change the oil in it and the transfer case?

The trans takes synthetic Mercon. Mobil 1 synthetic ATF satisfies that spec. It takes 4 quarts. Not sure on the t-case, mine's 2wd.

So is that just a synthetic ATF blend or ..? Cuz I also herd people just putting regular 75-80 gear oil in it . Or another gear oil by amzoil or royal purple ?? Also I herd they stopped making the Mercon???
