T444e vs. 7.3 PSD

Does anyone know all of the differences between the two engines.

I was talking to a long time friend of mine who works for an International dealer and he said the only differences he knows is the camshaft, crank and turbo are different.

Any of the techs know anything else.

P.S. Where can I order a crank kit, cam kit etc so I can have a true semi motor?

I could be wrong but i think the T444e is sleeved

I thought that the T444E was just an Industrial 7.3L

I also believe that the t444e is sleeved and has Ford programming. The rest should be the same.

I thought it was technically the name for the 7.3

and all these years i thought they were one and the same core with the diferences being in the engine control systems

we have a guy around here that has bought a t444e and changed the oil pans and a few other little things and made them go into a powerstroke to make it the same but im not sure of all of the rest of stuff that you ahve to do but it wasent much

I thought that the CPS is the same, just different manufactures. A lot of people are running the blue CPS out of the 466, which is different.

we have a lot of the 444e at work an so far the only diferenc i found is it is more industreal the water pump has a filter on it and thay have a diferent oil pan to hold more oil but the block looks the same. i will keep comparing them as i keep working on them
