Ford VS Chevy VS GMC VS Dodge Today
Ok, so as I was driving from my girlfriend's house in Beaufort, SC back to mine in Columbia, SC I decided to play a little game. I started to count how many Ford/Chevy/GMC/Dodge trucks there were pulling large trailers on the road today. This drive took me 2 1/2 hours and covered roughly 150miles on the interstate. I'm classifying "large trailers" as anything big enough to hold at least 2 cars, anything 5th wheel, or gooseneck.
Here's how it laid out: 1st Place: Ford with 39 trucks pulling large trailers 2nd Place: Chevy with 4 trucks pulling large trailers 3rd Place: GMC with 2 trucks pulling large trailers 4th Place: Dodge with 1 truck pulling a large trailer There ya go folks! Welcome to Ford Country and

Thats funny. Just helps prove my point that I always say, look at what a logger or a rancher is driving and 90% of the time they are driving a Ford.

HAHAHAHA
. Must be an exciting drive. That's how it is around here too, (though I've never actully COUNTED) It's rare to see a dodge pullin' anything, even rare...er (more rare) to see a Chv / GMC pullin'.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The Dodge was beat to hell and back...looked like it was in pretty shabby shape. I only saw the dodge one mile before I got off the interestate and went to my house.

Come to think of it on my drive to oregon from colorado i noticed way more fords pulling trailers, ect then a dodge and i think maybe 1 gmc or chevy. I also think ford markets there trucks better but fords are also better
.The only dodge that really stuck out to me was one pulling a car trailer ( the kind you see big rigs pulling with the new cars on it for dealers) with i think 6 cars on it. |

theres a few dodges around here that pull big loads, but i think its just hotshot drivers passing thru. Landscaping crews, contractors and electric companies all rely on
Now if we play that game with modded/lifted trucks, than its something like 4:1

I'll drive a few loops on 465 tomorrow and do my best to come back with some inflated numbers.

Got any numbers for us today?

Did a few laps around 465 and counted 328 Dodges, 6 Fords and 2 GM's. Man this must be CTD country!
