Ebay LED work lights write-up
hey guys, I just recently bought a set of the Ebay chinese LED work lights a while back I saw a discussion of wether or not they were worth the money or if it would be better to save up for rigids or similar lights.
I got my Ebay lights in the other day and recently installed them on my back rack to use as a reverse work light. I needed something to help with backing up trailers at night, I opted to mount them up high on the back rack for several reasons mostly to shine over the top of everything to be able to use them as a work light also.. Over all Im pretty satisfied with the lights considering what I had paid, $50 for the set.. I dont have any night shots yet, but will get some tonight and post them up tomorrow just to show you guys the out put. They have a pretty decent sized heat sink off the back of them which surprised me considering that they dont really get that hot even when on for extended periods of time. The quality is definatly not rigid or vision x, I feel like cheapest looking part of the entire lamp is probably the lens which initially worried me. However the light output is pretty good considering. I do not have a higher quality LED light to compare these to, however compared to a set of halogens I would say theyre out put is much better... In my opinion if you have the money and are willing to spend it on higher quality lights I would, but for the $50 these cant be beat! I can't really speak too much for the lifespan of these since ive only been running them for a few days... These are the 27W 9LED Spot Light (3W per Led) Heres some Pics... ![]() ![]() Heat Sinks ![]() Heres a shot of them on ![]() ![]() And just a quick shot of where i mounted the switch ![]() Again im not an expert on Led stuff by any means just figured id post up a review on some cheap but decent lights for anyone interested, if anyone knows more about them feel free to chime in! |

Re: Ebay LED work lights write-up
Looks real good. Keep us updated on lifespan, been looking at getting some too. On a side note, where'd you get that rack? I really like it.

I got the rack from a friend that's a dealer for them but its a "back rack"
They're pretty common and have alot of different accessories for them... They run around mid $200's I believe. http://Cab rack.ca/ Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App |

Just search around in eBay, If you get them from a seller in the us I think they go for around $70 a set but if you buy directly from a seller in china you can get a hold of them for somewhere in the area of 50 but be prepared to wait shipping takes like a month!
