D66 & stage 1's
Well I'm finally going to get the time to do it. I've been enjoying my holiday vacation at home and I'm driving over to Bean's Wednesday, (only 45 miles away), and getting a new D66 turbo and stage 1 injectors. He's going to install the injectors and I'll do the turbo myself. I'm just going to run it with my edge evolution for now and see how it does. I'll go with a Wildman chip later if it doesn't like the edge. I've read a lot of posts of the 66 with stage 2's, but I'm wondering if you all think it will do OK with the stage 1 injectors? Also, how will it affect my EGT's, hotter or cooler? I'll have to head back out on the road in the big truck to make a run as soon as I get back from Beans, so I'll change the turbo and do a FPR mod next weekend.
