Different faceplate ideas
So I'm fairly new to the forum and mostly just read and gain knowledge (thanks to everyone for all the info and advice!). I recently threw some upgrades on my truck (intake, 6-position chip, exhaust) and wanted to share one of the things I did in order to create a slightly custom aspect to a very common upgrade: the switch. I don't know how most people mount theirs, although I did see one person who mentioned using the place where the 4x4 switch would be on the dash with auto-locking hubs. Since my truck is manual hub and floor shift, I took that advice. But I wanted some way to indicate what position the chip is in that was a little more personalized than just words or numbers.
This was my idea. So from left to right you have stock, high idle, +50, +75, +100, 140+. Yes, it's a canned tune TS-6 chip. Yes, I will eventually reburn it. No, that's not what this thread is about.
If anyone else has a custom, unique way of showing off a standard upgrade, not just the switch, and you want to show it off, feel free to throw it on here.
And yes, I realize I am very long winded. Can you believe this is the short version of what I wanted to say?
