I just read about this. Seems GM and Navistar are in agreement. GM is going to allow Navistar to build vehicles in the 4-8gross wieght range.
Hmmm I wonder what this means for the Duramax. Navistar |

I would say that they would keep the Duramax but the question that I want to know is how will
like this move for Navistar?

Hmmm sit back grab some popcorn and relax. This will be interesting to watch and see how it pans out.

Ford is almost done with Navistar as it stand now. I don't think it will effect them much.

almost done?? doesn't there contract last till 2012 or sometime within?

Almost done as in suit countersuit etc. That is anm indicator of two companies that are just trying to find a way to go there seperate ways.

I'm curious what Ford will think bout it... unless there is some contract mumbo jumbo about certain segments that doesnt' prevent Navistar from doing such a thing...
and Ford just re-up'd their contract with Navistar for another 15 years is what I've read... |
