Power Steering Pump Leak

Hi Folks,

I have an 2001 F-350 (PS). It looks like the power steering pump is leaking from somewhere near the top, but itís difficult to see exactly. Before I start taking things apart, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or are there any known issues with leaks on the pumps?

Thanks for your help,

Mark

Yeah, that's ok, it's not coming from the cap.

It could be the fittings on the top I guess. Can't see where else it could be coming from.

Thanks,

Mark

I had a power steering leak for years. It never hit the ground, but the area was always oily. I had other work done, and it ended up being a hose that was leaking. It probably needs to be cleaned up well to find the leak.

Good luck,
Tim
