Power Steering Pump Leak

Hi Folks,

I have an 2001 F-350 (PS). It looks like the power steering pump is leaking from somewhere near the top, but it’s difficult to see exactly. Before I start taking things apart, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or are there any known issues with leaks on the pumps?

Is the o-ring on the cap in good shape?

Yeah, that's ok, it's not coming from the cap.

It could be the fittings on the top I guess. Can't see where else it could be coming from.

I had a power steering leak for years. It never hit the ground, but the area was always oily. I had other work done, and it ended up being a hose that was leaking. It probably needs to be cleaned up well to find the leak.
