this has probably been asked befor but i was woundering if you guys could help me out my buddy has an 06 duramax with an intake exaust and a supper chips. After every mod i race him and its getting better but i would like to beat him within the next year would a set of stage ones and some custom tunes put me up there running with him or will this just cost me alot more than its worth.

yeah and even if you get better tunes and stage 1's, all he has to do is get a real programmer like the PPE hot +2 or what ever it is and he'll be blowing your doors off again

i was affraid you guys were going to tell me that the only good news is he will be to broke to afford a real tuner for the next year or two the payment and insurence is killing him.
another one of my main worries is adding vent holes to the block with stage 1 and tunes
