heavy towing

i would like to know what type of oil supplement or additive to use in my 7.3 when i tow alot the oil gets extremely bubbly and foamy. i know the cause but not the cure. i usually put a whole bottle of lucas in but it doesnt do the trick so any help would be great.

The Lucas is the cause of your foamy oil. If i was to do anything i would run a quality synthetic oil, like Amsoil. Foaming oil is very bad for the injectors in these trucks

really? well i have 175k on my truck is it to late to start running synthetic

Do not run lucas on your next change it should not foam anymore

ive always been told if you suddenly change from petrolium based to synthetic it will hurt your seals...is that true

It was when the synthetics first came out but not a problem anymore. Go for it. whatever you do stop running lucas in your oil. or any oil additive in the PSD.
