IPR Check Engine Light? ? ?

Have a 2003 F350 7.3 auto. put the banks 6 gun tuner on it. everything works great. but when i stand on it or go to pass someone on the intersate and have to get on it a little bit, The check engine light comes on. Hooked the computer up to it and it says its the IPR ( injection pressure regulator ). Just changed the IPR and still does the same thing. Any ideas?

if your getting a P1211 its normal....your HPOP cant keep up with the demands of the injectors and there isnt a cheap way to fix it...

does it hurt the engine because my 7.3 diesel does the same thing

how much is it to fix it so the HPOP can keep up. And i talked to a guy last night that stated it will hurt my truck in the long run by keeping it the way it is. He said evertime the light comes on , it is defueling my truck. any truth to that? told me that 4 inch exhuast and intake would help. or is he just tryin to sell me some stuff.

will not hurt a thing to leave it that way ,like marc said all of them do it and the fix is anywhere from 900 for the do it yourself kit and you still have to buy the extra pump or im thinkin 2000.00 for the complete kit

so the guy that told me exhuast and intake will help is full of it? also said it runs my engine dry when it defuels. i thought it was more safety than harm ?

the exhaust and intake will not get rid of the cel on accell no, it will help with exhaust gas temps, but not the p1211 , it isnt defueling either, if you are getting an overboost code then the pcm will defuel, there is a easy fix for that , but if arent getting a overboost code then dont sweat it
