Alternator question
Help !
I have a 1997 F350 Powerstroke. A while back I noticed that my stereo volume would suddenly go down. It seems like at the same time the needle on the voltmeter on gauge would also go down. When I start it its sort of slow. The gauge seems to bounce around when its warming up. Would that be the alternator ? |

ya really need to get your batteries individually load tested
and then you can have your charging system checked most parts stores can check the charging system while on the truck but don't let them check the batteries like that pull them out and individually check them since the batts are tied together a weak battery will be masked by a good one ,, if they need replaced get 2 new matching batts with a high CCA rating and as always check your connections |
