no 4x4?

went to pull my buddys chevy out of the mud this evening and my truck refused to go into 4x4 high or low. anyone have any ideas why?

did the hubs lock in alright?? was it just the transfer case portion that you feel didnt want to engage or what can you tell us?? Did you try to do it in auto or manual lock on the hubs??

i only tried the auto lock. after it didnt go in i just pulled him out with 2 wheel so i didnt even need it but it still made me worry about it

If it locks in just fine in manual mode, you have a vacume problem to the hubs or a seal leaking the vacume. If it wont lock in either way, odds are the shift motor or switch is bad....
