Anybody Use Lucas Additives?

Hey All, anybody use Lucas products? I've used them in basically everything I own...any objections or comments about running the oil stabilizer in the truck? What about the fuel additive?...they claim it helps lubricate the fuel to increase component life..like pumps and injectors.

im not gonna lie to ya man, additives that didnt come in the oil already scare me.......even name brand ones. I think that everything your truck needs oil wise is in the oil already......

I kinda agree with Marc. I feel if it's not already in the oil, I don't need to add it. My dad always ran Rotella T 15-40 and never had a problem, therefore, I run Rotella T.

I've run there fuel treatment but have had much better luck with powerservice or the brand that ford promotes, had a buddy that said the mileage on his 7.3 actually dropped 1-2mpg running the lucas additive

wow, ive never heard anyone have any complaints about any cetane booster, i was under the impression that most were very similar in results, but thats good to know man!!!!

the only expirence i have with lucas is in company truck's and oil additive i my sister's truck. i used to be a delivery driver for a parts store. every other oil change my boss would have us put a bottle of injector cleaner junk in the truck's. it helped mileage but i think it was for gassers only. the oil additive i put i my sisters truck cuz it had an old worn out 300 in with little to no oil pressure. put a quart of the lucas in and the pressur came up. i only use power service and diesel in my tank and rotella 15-40 in the pan.

Hey Marc, I don't think the Lucas Fuel Additive boosts the Cetane levels, I think it's just a cleaner/lubricant. At least it doesn't SAY anywhere on the bottle that it boosts cetane, it simply says for Gasoline or Diesel Fuel.

I don't use ANY motor oil additives, just plain don't belive they are anything more than a "band-aid" for a much bigger problem. I do however use it in the rear and t-case of my off road truck and I can't really say it hurts or helps but it does run ALOT quieter in 4low.
