Surprised at used diesel prices

Stopped by a local Ford dealer while traveling through MA to try and get an idea of how much the 6.0 helps/hurts used pricing. They had two -almost- identical-really good condition '06 F250's, 67k-6.0 and 60k-v10, 4x4, club cab(?-jump seats) pwr, leather etc.

The diesel was priced $5,600 over the gasser and this, for some reason surprised me.

Same for other areas?

Were u suprised that 5600 wasnt enuff higher or that it was too much and should of been lower?

Fairly common. More technology, power, and more desired.

Yep, that's about what the premium for a diesel was back when they were new.

kinni, guess I was surprised at the amount (higher) of the price bump up as I remember looking at diesel trucks-Fords- some years ago and had dealers tell me that they were 'hard' to move.

Must be the -def adjustment-
